peter was raised to honor and fear god, religion was a weapon to subdue his temperamental and behavioral issues. black metal liberated him, exposing him from his restraints as the embodiment of ungodliness, the very thing that god, humanity, and himself fears: hell. once self-punishing, confused and angry at himself for his innate sinfulness, he now acts with reckless abandon. since the age of 13 and throughout his teenage years, he spent time in and out of behavioral programs, psych hospitals, and rehab facilities for his self harm, heavy alcoholism, and heroin addiction. he is diagnosed with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder
he believes to act freely, acting on your most taboo and depraved emotions, is the ultimate connection to the soul one may have. he encourages his bandmates to act the same, to act with inhibitions is only blinding you from your soul.
loves disturbing metal, playing violent video games. he likes whatever alexei likes to do. prefers the company of his small group, despite his grandiose presence. feels a connection to winter trees, devoid of any leaves.
Personality, Values, and Interests
peter has an intense personality, loving and hating in full extremes. a social outcast and nasty to most people, he is generally unpleasant to be around. growing up, he learned that his anger and entire being is socially unacceptable. so once he reached his teens, he decided to "be himself" by acting in the most grotesque manner for shock value. he finds humor in getting a rise out of others. he talks a lot, often insulting others or spouting philosophical nonsense. he has at times a great sense of grandeur, and at other times an intense self hatred. hes histrionic, sarcastic, gross.
still, he thinks fantastically and develops his own philosophies on existence. he believes it to be almost blasphemous to act while constrained by expectations and norms of society. he believes in the right to absolute autonomy; usually meaning the right to self-destruction. a long time ago, he denounced god and yet he still fears him. he holds his closest confidants as being on the same level as him; outcasts shunned by god with frozen souls and inhumane bodies. despite being generally nasty to others, if peter decides that another is an outcast as he is, he will attach to them immediately.
peters "favorite person" is alexei, so much of his personality is built around him. many of his likes and interests are because alexei is interested in them. war history, dnd, roleplaying video games, first person shooters, guns, violent movies; what peter enjoys most about these things is that he can share them with alexei. in his youth, he played violin and sang in his church's choir.
